This term Room 6 took part in the Schoolkit Writing Activity, and we were paired up with Room 24, West Harbour School in Auckland. We have shared our class interests, things that are important to each of us, words we find exciting and an interesting fact to enlighten our partner school. Each student had a postcard to write their own poem on, and these were sent to our partner school. Today, with great excitement, we opened our pack and set out the postcards on the floor to form the puzzle.
This activity was an amazing way to share information, safely, about our students, our likes, our families, and our community. Well done Schoolkit!!! We love taking part in your activities, bringing the students of Aotearoa closer!

What a great activity to be involved with Room 6. It's so good to be able to connect with students in another part of the country. I wonder if you will ever meet up with any of them in the future?
